A nobleman who raises Dan as a gentleman. He aids Yellowbeard by hiding him with Dr. Gilpin and devising a botanical expedition disguise to reach Jamaica. He participates in the rescue mission against El Nebuloso’s fortress and joins the final mutiny to seize the treasure ship.
