Hannah's younger brother who waits for her at home. He accompanies her on a bike ride to Bad Hersfeld but is fatally killed in a hit-and-run accident. His body is hidden in a cornfield and later buried by Hannah and Elmar.
Elmar is acquainted with Uli through Hannah and shares a friendly dynamic with him.
