A 16-year-old half-Navajo inmate who discovers he has terminal cancer. He kidnaps Dr. Reynolds to transport him to a Navajo medicine man in Arizona. Blue's journey is driven by a belief in Native American spirituality and the healing powers of a sacred mountain lake. Despite worsening health and police pursuit, he reaches his destination and disappears into the waters.
