An orphan who escapes his abusive owners with the help of his invisible dragon friend, Elliott. He finds shelter with lighthouse keeper Lampie and his daughter Nora, integrates into Passamaquoddy, and eventually forms a lasting bond with his new family while learning to let go of Elliott.
