One of the stagecoach robbers and former associate of Tom's father. Works disguised as a mute at a stagecoach station. Upon learning of the Englishman's death, he teams up with Holy Joe to locate Monkey in jail and later joins the masked trio robbing a coach. He participates in the intensive training program to transform Tom into a capable man.
