A 33-year-old anxious and well-behaved pianist suffering from pulmonary fibrosis. Dependent on supplemental oxygen, he shares a hospice room with Benno. Spontaneously flees the facility to search for meaning before his expected death, but ultimately succumbs to his illness shortly after returning to Germany.
