The cynical, alcoholic protagonist who works as a birthday-party clown. After being framed for the murder of his mentor Owen Cheese, he goes into hiding, poses as a mime, and eventually clears his name by exposing the true killer, Binky. He conquers his alcoholism, reconciles with his girlfriend Judy, and becomes the host of a successful children's TV show.
