The central protagonist and antagonist, a Victorian doctor whose accidental ingestion of ether and cocaine triggers a violent split personality. As Hyde, he murders prostitutes, manipulates clients into sadomasochistic killings, and ultimately murders his own wife to evade suspicion and continue his spree.
