A Jewish radio repair shop owner in 1944 Budapest. After escaping the brutal labour service, he partners with Ferenc to save Jews by impersonating SS officers. He kills Nazi officers who threaten Hannah, later dies during the Siege of Budapest while protecting captured Jews, and eventually emigrates to New York.
