A young Rajasthani village girl who enters an arranged marriage with Kishanlal. Devastated by her husband's sudden departure, she is comforted by her aunt and eventually forms a deep bond with the ghost impersonating her husband. She lives blissfully with him for four years, becomes pregnant, and gives birth to Lunima. Heartbroken when the ghost is trapped, she ultimately reconciles to sharing her life with both her real husband and his ghostly lover inhabiting the same body.
