Patti is a single mother and rock musician who performs with her brother in The Barbusters. She struggles financially, resorting to shoplifting and burglary to fund her ambitions. Her reckless behavior causes friction with Joe, but she desperately wants to elevate the band. After auditioning for another group and clashing with her brother, she reconciles with Joe, Benji, and their dying mother, revealing Benji's father before ultimately rejoining the Barbusters for a reunion show.
