An Aboriginal schoolteacher wounded by gunfire from Jimmie and Mort. He uses a newspaper article about their notoriety to secure his life as a hostage. He offers cynical commentary on colonialism, advises Jimmie to leave Mort, and is temporarily sheltered by Mort before the brother's death.
