A British Petroleum employee seconded to the Royal Engineers, selected for his technical expertise to locate a German fuel depot. Initially disrespected by the criminal unit, he captures a German ambulance and nurse, discovers the initial target is a decoy, and successfully convinces Leech to destroy the real depot in a port city. He attempts to surrender with white flags but is killed by a friendly British soldier.
