A nine-year-old Pakistani-American unaccompanied minor stranded in Texas following the September 11 attacks. Separated from his father who works in the World Trade Center, he forms a close bond with Montine during their journey. After being placed in school care, he initially resists leaving but is eventually convinced to board his flight back to Los Angeles.
