Salesman at the Schmidt Costume Shop and regular visitor to the fire station. He brokers a costume deal with the Fire Department and orchestrates a plan to switch places with Carlson at a ball to win Louise. Later, he assists the firemen in putting out the blaze that erupts during the chase.
