The protagonist, a traumatized young woman who raised her terminally ill sister Tsukiko. After falsely assuming Tsukiko’s identity to attend school and surviving sexual abuse and accidental homicide, she fled, lived various lives, and formed deep bonds with several men. Her hidden past ultimately leads to her tragic disappearance.
