A British aristocrat initially drawn into ivory poaching by O'Flynn. He marries O'Flynn's daughter Rosa and fathers a child with her. Following the tragic destruction of O'Flynn's home, he joins the hunt for German commander Herman Fleischer. After successfully planting a bomb on the enemy warship, he survives and personally eliminates Fleischer onshore, witnessing the ship's destruction.
