A wealthy guest who recently survived a heart attack. He clings to his wife Ellen throughout their stranded ordeal. Upon realizing they are trapped in a deceptive afterlife purgatory, his final hopes for a future with Ellen are shattered when she appears and has apparently committed suicide out of despair.
