The sole surviving Japanese officer from the 1945 gold-carrying expedition. Hired by Rex Larson in exchange for a share of the treasure, Tobachi accompanies the modern treasure hunters through the dangerous jungle. He survives the initial expedition until Larson's betrayal, where he is ultimately assassinated by Larson upon reaching the gold cave.
