Son of a deceased American diplomat who resigns from the diplomatic service after suspecting his new wife of being an enemy agent. He goes undercover to expose a Nazi espionage ring aiming to sabotage American industrial capabilities before war breaks out. He attempts to steal a briefcase of documents on a train in Germany and works with his wife to thwart the spy's plans.
