Six-year-old son of Amelia who exhibits erratic behavior and becomes obsessed with an imaginary monster called the Babadook. After accidentally injuring his cousin, he has a seizure and seeks therapy. He ultimately uses his contraptions to subdue his possessed mother and helps her establish a fragile coexistence with the monster.
