Born in Warri, initially supported by Western Oil scholarships, she becomes a community advocate after an oil spill explosion kills her family. She organizes peaceful protests against corporate negligence and military brutality, eventually becoming the love interest of militant leader Dede. After a failed government dialogue ploy and the burning of corrupt elders, she takes responsibility, is arrested, and sentenced to death by hanging.
