Bridget's infant son and Deb's grandson. After his mother's disappearance, he is raised by Deb. He endures his grandmother's abusive relationship with Ray and later bonds closely with her second husband, Chris. As he grows into an adolescent, he accompanies Deb through her grief and eventual decision to move away for a fresh start.
