Central protagonist of the second tale. Initially a clumsy predator who fails to catch farm animals, he accidentally hatches and adopts three chicks. He protects them from a wolf, disguises himself on the farm, and faces temporary rejection when the chicks reject his nature. Ultimately, he earns their trust back by defeating the wolf and negotiates a truce with the lead chicken.
