Encounters the protagonists while battling his corrupted ability, Rashōmon. He deduces that destroying an embedded jewel subdues abilities and attempts to fight his power creatively. Later joins Atsushi and Kyouka to invade Shibusawa's base, ultimately participating in the final battle to permanently defeat Shibusawa.
