Family friend and psychiatrist who performed the lobotomy on Andy's mother. He invites Andy to accompany him on a road trip between asylums to perform and document lobotomies. He performs the procedure on Susan, interrogates Andy about his psychological state, and eventually drops Andy off at Jack's residence.
