An addict who bonds with Shelly at a rehab center. After they are murdered by crime lord Vincent Roeg's henchmen, Eric is resurrected by spirit guide Kronos with supernatural healing abilities. After losing his powers due to doubt and dying again, he makes a pact to save Shelly's soul, gains Black Blood, and systematically hunts down Roeg's crew to avenge their deaths and defeat the villain, ultimately sacrificing himself to reunite with her.
