A Norwegian entomologist who serves as Korda's tutor and later administrative assistant. Initially exposed as a corporate spy for Excalibur's consortium during a plane crash, he switches allegiance after falling in love with Liesl. He ultimately accepts Korda's loan of a wedding ring, proposes to Liesl, and marries her.
