A building plumber who visits the Cowpers' apartment under the guise of mandatory pipe checks. He displays increasingly ominous and intrusive behavior, deliberately making the bathroom a mess, installing elaborate scaffolding, and finding excuses to enter the unit. He maintains a friendly facade while invading Jill's privacy, eventually exploding the pipes and getting arrested after Jill frames him.
Max operates as the building's contracted plumber, while Brian Cowper is the unaware homeowner receiving the service.
