A guest at the hotel on his honeymoon with Odette. He possesses Peter's camera in his dressing gown and attempts to bribe then threaten Peter with a pistol. He escapes with his wife after shooting Heimberger, but is eventually cornered on a rooftop by Peter, where he slips and falls to his death.
Peter serves as the central investigator, while Andre acts as the main antagonist driving the conflict.
