A young special education teacher who married Ben's father five years ago. She warmly welcomes Ben and Steve to the funeral. During Ben's depressive episode, she consoles him but they end up sleeping together. She becomes the focus of Steve's genuine affection, eventually moving to the farm to help run it and romantically reconciling with him.
