Haganah rebel and former British Army Jewish Brigade captain who orchestrates the illegal immigration of Jewish refugees to Palestine aboard the ship Exodus. He later plots the Acre Prison break, falls in love with Kitty Fremont, and ultimately fights in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.
