A Vietnam veteran hostage who bonds with Buzz inside the bank. He reveals his regret over being unable to serve due to his sexuality and gifts Buzz his military jacket. He successfully negotiates his release as a hostage and refuses to identify the robbers. He later pilots a helicopter to help Jesse and Hope escape.
