Biography

Amanda Collin (born 4 March 1986 in Rungsted) is a Danish actress. She began her career in the early 2010s, performing in short films and stage productions, notably at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. In cinema, she drew attention for her role in the crime thriller Department Q: A Conspiracy of Faith (Flaskepost fra P, 2016). She achieved widespread critical recognition in 2017 for her leading role as Marie in the drama A Horrible Woman (En frygtelig kvinde), a performance that earned her both the Bodil Award and the Robert Award for Best Actress. Internationally, she rose to prominence portraying the android Mother in the science fiction series Raised by Wolves (2020–2022), executive produced by Ridley Scott. She continued her film career in the historical drama The Promised Land (Bastarden, 2023) and on television by portraying Lady Jeyne Arryn in the fantasy series House of the Dragon (2024).
