Sohey Sugihara was born and raised in Hokkaido, Japan. He started dancing at the age of 16 and moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to pursue his professional dance career. He received his formative dance training in all styles at Millennium Dance Complex, Debbie Reynolds and The Edge Performing Arts Center. He has danced for numerous choreographers such as Wade Robson, Tony Testa, Brian Friedman, Tabitha and Napoleon, Rhapsody James, Gil Duldulao, Andre Fuentes, & Matt Cady. Sohey can also be seen assisting Kevin Maher & Tricia Miranda in classes & on convention.
