David Poe is the director of the filmmakers' horror project and a central survivor of the hospital ordeal. He chooses to use Dr. Eibon's corpse as a prop, later disguises himself as a zombie with Paul, rescues Topaz, destroys Dr. Eibon, and discovers that the hospital has opened into another dimension.
