Biography

Derek Poole was born in Syracuse, New York to Kenneth and Susan Poole in 1993. He is known for his work in recent thriller movies such as "Spring Break Nightmare" and "Weekend Deadaway". He also has been seen on the USS Enterprise playing the role of Captain Kirk, as well as playing the superhero Orion in the mini series "Starquake". He studied in New York at the Donna Marrazzo Studio and then went on to further his education with acting coach Anthony Abeson. Since childhood, he has been heavily involved with his family's dairy farm. He always had a passion for action sports, especially freestyle skiing and motocross racing. As a teenager, he competed in Slopestyle, Big Air and Rail Jam skiing events, along with racing amateur motocross. He is represented by BMG Talent and Independent Artist Entertainment.
