Issuf Ali is a feared pirate associated with the Death Dagger and the old map sought by Benjamin and Erkan. Local legend says the dagger let him take his enemies' souls and supposedly gave him healing powers. During the 1561 attack on Mallorca, he is said to have stabbed himself rather than be captured; islanders buried him with the dagger in a secret location.
