Anna Bergmann is a German stage director. She studied Theatre, Philosophy und English at Freie Universität Berlin. Since 2003, she has worked as a director at various locations, including Schauspielhaus Bochum, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Münchner Volkstheater, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna and Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin. Since 2014, she has also directed regularly at Uppsala Stadsteater and Malmö Stadsteater in Sweden.
