Víctor is a young Puerto Rican immigrant who moves to Brooklyn and joins the Roman Lords. He takes part in street violence, becomes involved with drugs, and develops a serious opiate addiction. After his family confronts him, he enters treatment upstate and struggles through withdrawal while trying to recover.
