He repeatedly fights with Ascilto over Gitone, befriends the poet Eumolpo, suffers a curse that prevents him from satisfying Gitone, and later travels with them after unexpectedly inheriting a mansion.

Ottone — Poppea: A Prostitute in Service of the Emperor (1972)

Ottone is a Roman subject who saves Nero when a spear is thrown at the emperor during a public spectacle. Nero praises him as a hero and offers a reward, but Ottone asks for money rather than poetic fame.
