Strict jazz dance instructor with traditional views.
Fr. John is part of the community group preparing the Christmas Eve concert and presentation about Christmas Tree Lane. He works with Meg, Nate, Kari, Samantha, and the merchants to communicate the street’s spirit and history to the company decision-makers.
Old Man in Dark appears in John's hallucinations and visions as an older figure wearing grey clothing. John sees him near a vision of his child and later understands that this figure was connected to his unborn son. The apparition reflects John's fear, impending loss, and eventual spiritual realization.
