Sydney is a recent honors graduate of the University of Chicago, where he specialized in Cinema and Media Studies and earned high distinction for his thesis research concerning the work of Peter Greenaway and its relationship to Soviet theorist Mikhail Bakhtin. Meadow’s experiences as a freestyle wrestler in the Russian cities of Vladimir and Suzdal, camping in Northwest Montana for three years, and navigating the British film world while studying at King’s College London have informed his creative decisions while at the Conservatory. He is a native of Chicago’s Southside.
