Biography

Lion Wasczyk (born July 6, 1994, in Berlin) is a German actor. Lion Wasczyk made his acting debut in the television film *Die Zeit der Kraniche*. This was followed by appearances in productions such as *Doctor’s Diary*, as well as in the film *Mit geradem Rücken*. In 2013, he also appeared in a guest role in the series *Doc meets Dorf*. Wasczyk gained recognition, among other things, for his role as Raphael in the fantasy film *Saphirblau*. Also in 2014, he took over the lead role of Jack Leopold in the Nickelodeon series *Hotel 13*—a character previously played by Gerrit Klein. From 2016 to 2019, Wasczyk was part of the main cast of the action series *Alarm für Cobra 11 – Die Autobahnpolizei*, in which he portrayed the young police officer Finn Bartels. In 2019, he also played a lead role in the youth film *Misfit*. From September 2021 to November 2025, he appeared as resident physician Florian Osterwald in the ARD series *In aller Freundschaft – Die jungen Ärzte*.
