Loke is a member of Dagmar's bandit group who attempts to rape Signe. Arvid intervenes and fights him, but Loke later finds Signe and Frigg in the forest and again attacks Signe. Signe kills him in self-defense, and his death prompts Dagmar to allow the bandits to pursue Signe more violently.
