Jade Oukid is a French photographer, amateur filmmaker, seamstress, and actress. She made her feature film acting debut in the critically acclaimed 2025 dystopian drama Sirāt, directed by Óliver Laxe. Because Sirāt centers on a nomadic rave community traveling through the North African desert, Laxe opted to street-cast real-life free partiers to bring authenticity to the film. Oukid was discovered by the director while she was attending a festival in Portugal and was cast alongside veteran Spanish actor Sergi López and several other non-professional actors.
