One of Ragnar's and Aslaug's sons. More thoughtful, diplomatic and level-headed than his brothers, Ubbe is nevertheless a strong and courageous warrior. In the later seasons he takes a leading role in the Great Heathen Army and becomes an advocate for establishing peaceful settlements in new lands, often clashing with Ivar's brutal ambitions.
