Biography

Alessandro Cioffi is an Italian visual effects supervisor at Trixter. He initially studied architecture in Naples, Italy, and also has interests in design and photography. Cioffi has held roles as visual effects supervisor for numerous high-profile motion pictures and television series, including many Marvel Studios productions. Some of his recent projects include Biohackers (2020), Sonic the Hedgehog (2020), The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021), The Suicide Squad (2021), Ms. Marvel (2022), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), and I Am Groot (2023). Earlier, he contributed to Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Ant-Man (2015), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017). Since around 2007, he has been based in Germany with TRIXTER, where he supervises visual effects work and oversees both creative and production responsibilities. Among the many memorable sequences he has overseen are the suit-assembly scenes in Iron Man 3 (2013), the first appearance of Ultron Mark One in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and the quantum hopping face-distortions in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017).
