Partho is a stranger Iravati meets on the train, where they share the same eight o’clock commute and regular seat. He befriends her, introduces her to parts of Hyderabad, and talks with her about poetry, anxiety, depression, and grief. He also shares the trauma of losing close friends in an accident. He and Iravati eventually agree to end contact and preserve their connection as a temporary friendship.
