Horse Face is an underworld guard who previously served alongside Ghost Head before Ghost Head was banished to hell. He repeatedly intervenes against Ghost Head in the living world, first rescuing Ah Lun and later defending Mi with Ox Head. Though he and Ox Head eventually begin losing the battle, their intervention gives the other characters time to act.
